Meet our CEO Valorie L. McNair, Licensed Esthetician who has a passion for treating skin of all ethnicities, but especially skin of color; helping others to improve and achieve optimal skin health for a better overall sense of well-being and self esteem, because beautiful skin is for all shades of skin. Valorie started her own skincare practice, V’La Von Studio Spa, LLC in 2018, and has partnered with Dr. Neena Bhatti, at Advanced Dermacare and Skin Solutions, a mini medical spa, located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Valorie specializes in common skincare conditions such as; acne and acne scarring, dehydrated skin, sensitive skin, aging skin, and uneven skin tone. Our practice provides corrective skincare using a range of Chemical Peel Treatments with minimal to no downtime, Customized Corrective Facial Treatments, HydraFacial MD, Hydra Dermabrasion, Dermaplaning, Advanced LED Therapy, and Prescriptive Therapy. In addition, Valorie is a full body wax specialist and certified permanent makeup artist (PMU).
Valorie graduated from Chesapeake School of Aesthetics in Arnold, Md. She later advanced trained one-on-one under JoElle Lee, a Skincare Expert, Educator, Lecturer, Author and Celebrity Esthetician, with over 20 years experience in all aspects of the skincare industry, and is most noted for being the former Personal Esthetician to First Lady, Michelle Obama.
Valorie continues to thrive and excel in the skincare industry through faith, consistency, and continued education. Her ability to connect with people on a greater level stems from her belief, Love God, Love People—emphatically. Through her love for helping others, she also mentors and empowers young girls and women to love and care for not only their skin and bodies, but to wholeheartedly love themselves within; to instill in them you are “fearfully and wonderfully made”. Valorie is also a member of ASCP, Associated Skin Care Professionals.
